A new dawn for Mwembeshi
Before the well, women and children walked miles for dirty water. Now there is clean water close to home, and more time for school.
Clean water, health care and schooling for rural Zambia, given in the Christian spirit of hope, healing and service.
We are a small 501(c)(3) run by the people who started it. Your gift goes to wells, clinics and schools, and we show you where.

We sit down with village leaders first, so each well goes where people need it most.

Quality materials and proper construction, so a well serves for decades, not seasons.

We train people in each community to maintain the well and keep the water safe.
Across rural Africa, many hand pumps break within a few years because nobody is trained to fix them. That is why every MMHZ well comes with local people trained to maintain it, and why part of every gift goes to repairs.

Waterborne disease was a constant threat to Mumbi's family. With a well nearby, her children are healthy and growing.
A single well has given women their hours back, kept children in class and helped local farms grow.
That is what one gift does.
