Medical Mission of Hope to Zambia (MMHZ) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of communities across Zambia. Founded by Dr. Ayodele Okeowo and Mrs. Nsama Okeowo, our organization works tirelessly to address one of the most critical needs in rural Zambia: access to clean, safe drinking water.
Our mission is simple yet profound: to bring clean water to every family in Zambia, one well at a time. We believe that access to clean water is a fundamental human right and the foundation for healthy, thriving communities. Through our water well projects, we're not just providing water – we're enabling education, economic development, and better health outcomes for thousands of people.

Since our founding, MMHZ has built over 150 wells across Zambia, directly serving more than 75,000 people in 95+ communities. Each well we build represents a transformation – children who can now attend school regularly, women who have time for economic activities instead of walking miles for water, and families who no longer suffer from preventable waterborne illnesses.
We work directly with local communities to identify the areas of greatest need. Our approach involves:
