Who we are
Medical Mission of Hope to Zambia (MMHZ) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of communities across Zambia. Founded by Dr. Ayodele Okeowo and Mrs. Nsama Okeowo, our organization works tirelessly to address one of the most critical needs in rural Zambia: access to clean, safe drinking water.
Our mission
Our mission is simple and profound: to bring clean water to every family in Zambia, one well at a time. We believe access to clean water is a basic human right and the foundation for healthy, thriving communities. Each well brings more than water. It makes room for school, work and better health for thousands of people.

Annual mission trips
Each summer a team travels to Zambia. The 2027 trip runs July 22 to August 4.

Each well we build changes a community: children who can now attend school regularly, women who have time for work instead of walking miles for water, and families who no longer suffer from preventable waterborne illness.
